Who We Are
SPORTEK Sports Technology Research and Education Limited Company was established on 6 October 2024 to turn scientific and professional experience into practical research, educational approaches, inclusive programmes and innovation-oriented collaborations. Operating within the Kahramanmaraş Teknokent ecosystem, SPORTEK connects applied research with the needs of communities, institutions and industry.
The company's multidisciplinary team includes academics and experienced professionals with backgrounds in projects conducted at Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam University (KSÜ). This experience informs SPORTEK's own independent project and R&D activity, without implying that the university and the company are the same legal entity.

European Projects & Academic Heritage
SPORTEK has secured support for two European projects as an organisation. Its team also draws on prior Erasmus+ project experience gained under the institutional framework of KSÜ. These are presented separately to clearly identify the relevant organisations.

Green and Inclusive Canoeing for Social and Environmental Change. Inclusive water-based activity combined with ecological awareness, participation and social inclusion.

Active ageing, lifelong physical activity and mindful movement.
Train4Family
Inclusive sport and active family participation for children with disabilities.
Darts4Blind
Adapted darts participation and social inclusion for people with visual impairments.
Hockey4All
Inclusive hockey, coaching and opportunities for children.
These five projects belong to the academic project experience of team members at KSÜ. They are not presented as SPORTEK-funded projects.
Leadership & Contact Team
Academic and research expertise in exercise physiology, physical activity, adapted sport, sport tourism and recreation. Experience in Erasmus+ project development, international consortium cooperation, project delivery and application of research findings in sport and education.
Main organisational contact and authorised representative, subject to applicable legal and grant requirements.
Professional background in pharmacy, nutrition-related health, wellness and preventive approaches to healthier living. Contributes multidisciplinary health knowledge, research support, stakeholder communication and partnership coordination to SPORTEK initiatives.
